This painting was painted during worship at the Prayer Summit hosted by Harvest Vineyard in Edmonton, Alberta, March 2010. At the end of the conference I was reminded of the way Jesus said that you cannot produce fruit unless you are connected to him. And, if you are, you will produce lots of fruit. Having the essence of the life blood of the vine, Jesus, flowing through us will cause immeasurably more growth than we can think or imagine. The vine branch in the image is both a symbol of being connected to Jesus and makes me think of the bridges to the people groups in this world where our fruit will grow. With the other images from this Prayer Summit in mind, restoration of the prodigals, worship without ceasing, submitting to be made pure, learning to move on the wind of the Spirit, seeing heaven touch earth, are all indications of God preparing men and women to bear fruit.
