This painting was painted during worship at the Prayer Summit hosted by Harvest Vineyard in Edmonton, Alberta, March 2010. “Progenitu” means first born and refers to Jesus who connects heaven to earth. Here the swirl of colors as a result of the music of worship seem to reflect a whirlwind of motion or dance as what looks like a figure dances beneath the heavens upon the earth. The hurricane or whirlwind is gathering creation, the earth, the trees, the birds into an upwards offering towards the top of the dancing figure which also resembles the dove-like shape of God’s Spirit. Jesus connects us, people of this physical earth, to the realm or kingdom of his Father through the dance of his life.
